In 1993, a pioneering group of radiologists working together at Princeton Radiology Associates (PRA) began supporting the imaging portion of clinical trials for the bio-pharmaceutical industry. A few years later, in 1997, pharmaceutical market conditions combined with new FDA legislation to increase the need for independent, centralized image review in the clinical trials industry.
To address this emerging medical market need, Princeton Radiology Pharmaceutical Research LLC (RadPharm) was founded in 1998 by Drs. Robert Ford and Donald Rosen. The Drs. focused on the Medicine Behind the ImageTM and quickly established RadPharm as the leading imaging core lab for oncology trials, providing centralized radiology services to a wide range of pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
This entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with vast medical expertise and keen business acumen allowed the Drs. to build the Company, attracting interest from the investment community. Receiving a significant capital outlay from Ampersand Ventures in 2005, the Company began operating as RadPharm Inc. and expanded its service offerings and investments in new technology and further growth projects.
Today, RadPharm regularly assesses and refines its image-handling processes and invests heavily into new technologies, continuing its mission to lead the industry in the provisioning of integrated state of the art medical imaging technologies and services to facilitate successful new drug development.
With a staff exceeding 300 global dedicated professionals, RadPharm Inc. has a clinical operational facility in Munich, Germany and corporate headquarters conveniently located in Princeton, NJ.
