Leo J. Wolansky, MD
Dr. Leo J. Wolansky earned his BA degree from Columbia University in 1980 and his MD degree from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in 1985. He joins RadPharm from UMDNJ, where he held the positions of Chief of MRI and Professor of Radiology. Dr. Wolansky completed an internship and residency in diagnostic radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital, and was chief resident, radiology from 1988-89. This was followed by a fellowship in neuroradiology at Yale/ New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Wolansky has been board certified in neuroradiology since 1995 and diagnostic radiology since 1989. Named one of "The Best Doctors in the United States" in 1998, Dr. Wolansky is the founder of an annual national radiology review course and an international radiology course held every other year. He has authored over 50 scholarly publications, as well as dozens of chapters and abstracts. Previously, he sat on the editorial board of the American Journal of Neuroimaging and Emergency Radiology. Dr. Wolansky is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and a member of the Radiology Society of North America.
Dr. Wolansky has multiple interests in neuroradiology with a special interest in multiple sclerosis. He is licensed in both New York and New Jersey.
